# Mac version ## **Download** The Mac version of the Piktures Media Server exists in two versions: * The M1 version that you can download at * The Intel version that you can download at ## Installation The Installation is fairly straightforward. You need to double-click on the pkg file, and follow the instructions. ## Configuration The configuration of the Mac app can be resumed in 4 parts: * The Display name * The credentials, i.e. Login and Password * The Port on which the server will listen * The Location of the Folder ![](/files/QRul2vmR6BzFr8fNp0PO) ## Always start To be able to use correctly the Mac version, it is recommended to have the Piktures Media Server always running.
