The smart views is mix of special albums, i.e. albums which have a special roles on your device, like the Camera album or the Download folder, and views, i.e. dynamic albums who are the result of a search, like the All items which is simply the list of all photos and videos, or the Favourite albums.
All the media items that Piktures support are listed in this album. It is a very convenient album that will always show the latest items at the top.
This is the most used albums on your device to store photos, simply because all the photos that you take with your camera appears there. On some devices, you can find two distinct camera albums: the Camera album on your phone memory and the other on the SD card.
This is the download folder from your phone that is shared by the Android operating system. Unlike a File manager, Piktures is only displaying media content.
The Favourite items is a view, not an album. When you mark a photo as favourite by clicking on the “star”, it gets included into this view.
When you shoot a QR code with the embedded QR Code scanner, the photo is stored in the QR Code folder so that you can easily retrieve those QR codes.

When you delete a photo or a video, they are first moved to the recycle bin. From there, they can be restored or deleted forever. The Recycle bin is basically a temporary folder to store files before they are deleted permanently.
